In Their Own Words
Zulaikha Hamdan
Petaling Jaya · Property Purchase
"The conveyancing process was handled with a level of care I hadn't experienced before. Every document was explained to me before I signed anything, and I was kept informed throughout. The whole experience was much less stressful than I expected a property purchase to be."

Rajan Arumugam
Kuala Lumpur · Employment Dispute
"I came to Crestmoor after a difficult dismissal and was not sure what to expect. The team listened properly, explained the Industrial Court process honestly, and helped me understand my realistic options rather than simply telling me what I wanted to hear. The outcome was fair, and I felt well-represented."

Strata Title Transfer with Financing Complications
Challenge
A purchaser's financing arrangement changed mid-transaction, requiring the loan documentation and memorandum of transfer to be revised and resubmitted to LHDN with amended stamp duty computation.
Our Approach
We coordinated directly with the new financier's solicitors, prepared revised documentation promptly, and managed the resubmission timeline to ensure the transaction remained within the extension granted by the vendor.
Result
The transfer was completed within an extended period of five months. The purchaser avoided forfeiture of their deposit and received full title to the property without penalty.

Collective Agreement Negotiation for Manufacturing Business
Challenge
A Selangor manufacturer faced collective agreement negotiations with their union for the first time. The employer's management team had limited familiarity with the requirements under the Trade Unions Act and Industrial Relations Act.
Our Approach
We prepared the employer's proposals, explained the legal constraints and scope within which negotiations must occur, and attended the negotiation sessions to assist in communicating positions in a manner appropriate to the framework.
Result
A collective agreement was reached within four months without escalation to the Industrial Court. Both parties signed an agreement that was practical for the employer and addressed the employees' core concerns.

Multi-Party Export Agreement Across Three Jurisdictions
Challenge
A Malaysian food export company sought to structure a supply arrangement involving a distributor in Indonesia and a financier in Singapore, requiring compliance with requirements in all three jurisdictions.
Our Approach
Crestmoor acted as lead counsel, coordinating with correspondent firms in Jakarta and Singapore. We prepared the master supply agreement, financing documentation, and a compliance checklist covering Malaysian, Indonesian, and Singaporean requirements.
Result
All documentation was executed within six weeks. The arrangement has since been renewed twice, and the client has engaged Crestmoor for two subsequent cross-border transactions.
