About Us
The Firm Behind
Every Matter.
Crestmoor was established to bring attentive, well-reasoned legal counsel to individuals and businesses in Malaysia and beyond.

Founded on Principle
Crestmoor was founded in 2009 by a small group of legal practitioners who shared one conviction: that legal work done carefully produces outcomes that are more durable than legal work done quickly. This view has guided everything from the way we structure our engagements to the way we communicate with clients.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, we serve clients across Malaysia and, for cross-border matters, in coordination with legal professionals in relevant jurisdictions. Over the years, our practice has grown through referral and reputation — two things we regard as more meaningful than advertising.
Our work spans three areas: notarial and conveyancing services, labour and industrial relations, and international trade and cross-border transactions. Each area requires a different kind of expertise, but all share the same commitment to precision, client communication, and professional responsibility.
We are a mid-sized firm by design. Staying focused on a defined scope of practice allows our team to develop genuine depth rather than spreading resources thinly across every legal specialism.
Our Guiding Values
-
Considered Counsel
Every instruction deserves thoughtful analysis before advice is offered.
-
Procedural Rigour
Attention to process and documentation reduces downstream complications.
-
Clear Communication
Clients are kept informed in plain language at every stage of their matter.
-
Ethical Practice
Our obligations to the court and profession sit alongside our obligations to clients.

Legal Expertise in Kuala Lumpur
Crestmoor operates from Kuala Lumpur, serving clients across the Klang Valley and throughout Malaysia. Our practice spans three well-defined disciplines: property conveyancing and notarial services, workplace relations and Industrial Court proceedings, and documentation support for international commerce.
Property transactions in Malaysia require careful attention to the National Land Code, stamp duty legislation, and relevant bank financing requirements. Our conveyancing team works methodically through each stage of the transfer process, communicating with all parties — purchasers, vendors, financial institutions, and land authorities — to keep matters progressing steadily.
In the area of labour and industrial relations, Malaysian law provides a detailed framework under the Employment Act 1955, the Industrial Relations Act 1967, and associated regulations. Our practitioners are familiar with the procedures of the Industrial Court and the Department of Industrial Relations, and approach each matter with a clear understanding of both parties' positions.
For businesses engaged in cross-border trade, the documentation requirements can span multiple legal systems. Crestmoor assists with the preparation and review of trade finance instruments, foreign investment structures, and cross-jurisdictional contracts, coordinating with local counsel in other countries as needed.
